Soller shares its valley with the village of Fornalutx and the hamlet of Biniaraix. The joint population amounts to approximately 13,000 inhabitants. The valley is famous for its orchards of orange trees and terraces of thousand-year-old olive trees. The house is positioned on the outskirts of the town, in one of the quietest areas of the Soller Valley, but even so, it is only five minutes away by car and fifteen on foot from the town centre. Palma de Mallorca Airport is 30 minutes away as well as the city of Palma de Mallorca. The closest beach is 5 Km (3.2 miles) away from the house, although there are numerous beaches to visit in the Majorcan coastline where you can enjoy clear and calm waters, from the rocky coves of the North coast to the sandy beaches of the South and East of the island.
